PET is commonly known as polyester resin. It is a polycondensate of terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol, collectively referred to as thermoplastic polyester or saturated polyester together with PBT. PET is a milky white or light yellow highly crystalline polymer with a smooth and shiny surface. Creep resistance, fatigue resistance, good friction resistance and dimensional stability, low abrasion and high hardness, with the greatest toughness among thermoplastics; good electrical insulation performance, low temperature influence, but poor corona resistance. Non-toxic, weather resistance, good chemical resistance, low water absorption, resistance to weak acids and organic solvents.
In many fields, plastic bottles are an important form of packaging. Beverages, food, cosmetics, medicines, daily necessities and chemical raw materials can all be stored in plastic bottles. Plastic products have been integrated into our lives. Plastic products can be seen everywhere in our lives. The demand for plastic products in the packaging market is increasing.
Disposable PET plastic products have occupied a considerable market share, and the quality of plastic bottles is constantly improving.
The importance of plastic containers has gradually become prominent, not only in the beverage market, but also in the food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries. The development of new filling technologies and heat-resistant PET bottles has opened up new possibilities and options.
